Legal Columnist, Real Estate Magazine; Founder, Groundworks Realty Services
Natalka is a lawyer who is deeply committed to increasing access to justice and positively changing the way the law is practiced and delivered. For three years and counting, Natalka arms the public with free legal knowledge as the founder, co-producer and host of a legal call in show with Rogers TV.
She worked in poverty law and was asked to help build a private real estate investment company. At the real estate company, she developed and led the leasing and property management divisions.
Her passion to help make legal advice affordable and practical, as well as her desire to give new Canadian lawyers the opportunity work in a friendly and flexible atmosphere, led her to found Groundworks Realty Services. Groundworks has a "client-first" focus that offers commercial leasing legal services to help agents, landlords and tenants make more deals and better business decisions by delivering their services quickly, in "plain English" and for a fraction of the price.
Natalka obtained her real estate sales license and is a Certified Leasing Officer. Over the last few years, she revised Real Estate Institute of Canada’s (REIC) commercial leasing and negotiation courses and she now sits as a REIC Director and is a REIC teacher. Natalka writes for many real estate publications, such as Real Estate Magazine and she is the recipient of the 2015-2016 REIC Education Award, the Bentall Kennedy Literary Award and the Patrick J Harvey Memorial Award. Due to her involvement in real estate community, the Real Estate Professional Magazine recently named Natalka as one of Canada’s Top 100 Elite Women in Real Estate.
