MORNING BREAKFAST WORKSHOP: A DESIGN/BUILD PROGRAM TO MAXIMIZE REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT

Ron Shaw has been designing and building custom unique residential villas in the Caribbean for 23 years with specific focus on the short term rental market in tropical climates. With projects located throughout the Caribbean, and as far away as Mauritius in the Indian Ocean and West Coast of Africa, Ron is bringing his practice back home to Canada. Convinced that his “thinking out-of-the-box” approach to residential design can be carried to colder climates, and the success of companies like VRBO, AIRBNB, etc. travelers are looking for unique experiences that RA Shaw provides thru architecture. Taking full responsibility from design thru to construction and setting up the unique team relationship that his “Design-Build Phased Program” creates, Ron is seeking interested parties to expand his designs in Canada. The presentation will:

  • Brief slide presentation on some of our projects and point out the unique characteristics.
  • Introduce/discuss the Five Phases of his Program
  • Review two case studies of projects in the Caribbean starting with videos
  • Share his belief in how/why his unique designs can turn investments into more profitable sales and/or short term rental programs.
